A blank sheet of paper ignites a liberation within me to paint with abandon. Form is quickly sketched out in one continuous trail of paint, then colours and form are fleshed out with texture and colour.
Paintings like these are intended as sketches, or studies for larger canvases. A lot of the time they become my favourite works in their own right.
