Love is a silent energy that need not be spoken to be understood.
Rather than focussing on a range of facial expressions, I prefer to paint powerful feelings of emotion in understated ways, e.g. with an enigmatic smile or a knowing look in the eyes.
Less is more, inviting the viewer to think deep to connect with what the subject of the painting is trying to say.
